When was the club founded?

Maghull is a suburb of Merseyside with a population of about 20,000. Its photography club was founded as Maghull Camera Club in 1964 by a group of keen amateur photographers, and became part of the Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union. Over the past 50 years or so, it has grown in stature, and is now recognised for its high standards of photography
