Getting to know … FRANCES LEATE

How would you describe your craft style?

I fall into the style of ‘traditional’ quilting and over the last few years have found myself doing a lot more stitching by hand and less on the machine – although I often incorporate both in a project. I enjoy combining embroidery with quiltmaking and have evolved my textured, more where I began with the embroidery, then the curved Pincushion blocks and later brought it all together with the embroidered border.
