Rosella (Hibiscus sabdariffa)

Rosella (Hibiscus sabdariffa) is a species of hibiscus, being an annual or perennial woody-based flowering shrub. As it has been in cultivation for at least 6000 years and in so many parts of the world, its origin is uncertain, though it may have come from western Sudan. Today (as in the past) it is grown and used worldwide. In Australia it grows wild in the Kimberley.
