The carbs should now be in operation so next on the list is normal service items and I generally start with the ignition system.

As new pattern contact breaker points are reasonably priced at around a tenner for each set, it seemed a good idea to fit them, but we shall see what happened soon when I shall look at this in more detail. But suffice to say, after a bit of attention the ignition seemed to produce some pretty strong sparks.
