For the first time since owning it, some 13 years now, 2019 saw me miss driving the ’34 for the whole season due to an engine issue, and to make it worse, it was probably self-inflicted! Last winter I decided to freshen up the engine bay, a job that was long overdue. Around about late April, the car was all back together and I was preparing to start the year off with a trip to the Jalopy Motorama show in the Netherlands.
