LIMESTONE COAST
PITCHING THE TENT OPTION
BELLWETHER Wines on the site of the 1868 Glen Roy shearing shed has a boutique campground with six beautiful tents to sleep up to 12 people (two in each tent) and six camp sites for those who bring their own gear.
Surrounded by 500+-year-old red gums, the site has a central communal campfire to keep visitors warm in winter. Visitors can see the wine being made during vintage, even join in if you want to do the vintage experience, or cook using fresh herbs and produce from the garden including fresh eggs.
There is an on-site amenities block with seven showers, six toilets and even a claw-foot bath. Queen tents or twin singles for two people start from $200 a night, including a bottle of Ant series wine.
If you have your own camping gear, caravan, campervan, motorhome or swag then unpowered sites are $30 and powered sites are $45.
