    A pure, beautifully focussed varietal with lime and lemongrass characters to the nose and a palate that has some body and is soft in the mouth with some minerality.

    Plantagenet Angevin Mount Barker Riesling 2017 ⋆⋆⋆⋆1/2

    Lemon lime sherbet characters to the nose with oyster shell-like minerality. A tight true varietal palate with lime overlay and some piercing acidity creating interest. $28

    Chalkboard Great Southern Riesling 2016 ⋆⋆⋆⋆1/2

    Musky floral fragrances with honeyed notes creeping in. Elegant floral palate, nicely textured, with clean, fresh, green pear and crunchy apple flavours. Very good wine.

    A very lifted and complex wine - ageing well but with plenty of freshness to it. Subtle kero development to the lime driven nose and long lingering grapefruit flavours.
