PATRITTI WINES

Few cities can boast of having two exceptional vineyards within their suburban boundaries, but Adelaide has two of them – Penfolds Magill Estate vineyard, the home of the famous Grange shiraz, and the Patritti vineyard just south of the city, just one hectare of 110-year-old grenache and shiraz grapes making it the oldest commercial urban vineyard in the world.

It’s a story of survival just as remarkable as that of Giovanni Patritti, who was among the first Italian immigrants to in arrive in South Australia.
