Going Up!

It was a nine month project from start to finish, and today the house is unrecognisable - while its exterior retains the architectural integrity of the original, a new colour scheme, replacing the brick infill underneath with weatherboards, replacing the roof and all the windows and doors have given it a fresh clean modern look which honours its part in Brisbane’s architectural history. Raising the house and re-stumping has given extra height to the ground floor, which is now the main living area, while four bedrooms, one with ensuite, an office, bathroom and living area are on the second level.The upper level, which is set back, is home to the master suite and an entertaining area which takes best
