PROVENCE
In two decades, Provençal rosé has become America’s benchmark. Relatively low in alcohol, these pale pink wines are made from a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and sometimes Mourvèdre. Tasting of red-currant fruits and just a hint of pepper, they shout summer, even in the winter.
Set along the Mediterranean coast, Provence has four appellations that each yield distinct rosés.
