As one of my clients sat at the table in front of me, I tried my best to understand how she was feeling.

‘It helps me try and connect with your loved one better,’ I explained to her, as she looked to me for answers.

I didn’t ask her any questions, but before long I’d started to visualise the person she wanted to talk to and the figure of an elderly woman was soon standing next to me.
