HISTORY ON A PLATE

New Ubin Seafood’s roots can be traced back to more than three decades ago, when co-founder and chief operating officer SM Pang and his wife opened a small eatery in Pulau Ubin. “When we first started out, we chose because it was something that was not dominated by competing brands,” says Pang, who crafts dishes based on what he would prepare for his family. The restaurant continues to offer fare such as the Heart Attack fried rice and cubed Prime USDA ribeye steak, while also introducing innovative ideas such as virtual restaurant UbinEats and islandwide delivery service Ubin Express.
