    A case of mistaken identity

    I AM a bit puzzled by the pictures in the article George’s Defender on page 96 of the May edition. The article refers to the Defender as a late TDCi, but some of the pictures show a pre-TDCi Defender with the hinged vent flaps and no bonnet bulge.

    There are three pictures of front ends of Defenders on page 98 but two pictures show a bonnet bulge and air con while one picture is without bonnet bulge or air con. It might be the same colour, but it’s not the same truck.
