THE GOLDEN GIRLS FAME, FEUDS & FRIENDSHIPS

It’s been 35 years since Blanche, Rose, Dorothy and Sophia invited viewers into their Miami home on The Golden Girls, but the comedy series – which ran from 1985 to 1992 – continues to win over new fans.

“I think the show has remained popular because it keeps speaking to all these different groups of people,” says Jim Colucci, author of the behind-the-scenes book, Golden Girls Forever.
