Business owners live in fear of criminals

SMALL township businesses have been besieged by violent criminal syndicates in the last couple of months since the Covid-19 induced lockdown and many fear for their lives and security.

A handful of business establishments around Soweto, including taverns, salons, filling stations, private doctors and general shops have been targets of criminals and it seems that the authorities are not even concerned about this trend.
