Fifteen stories, all entertaining and ranging from pleasantly entertaining to darkly eccentric. Each one has an ending to catch the reader off-guard. Although it's difficult to pick favourites, Where there's a will, The undiplomatic diplomat, Better the devil you know and Caste-off head my list.

This was the most fabulous listening this year. There are 15 short stories which keep the reader/listener gripped from the first word until the very last one. [[Jeffrey Archer]] is a master not only in telling stories but also with a great British black humour which in all those 15 tales are fulfilled as a masterpiece. The stories start harmlessly but quickly turn into a speed and the outcomes are always a surprise. Archer is playing with the human's foolishness but also with its sneakiness. It's a book I can strongly recommend.

This is a short story about a couple who are engaged. They are about to do something illegal and the story tells how it plays out. It is short fun and a good little mystery. I both cringed and laughed at the end and loved it altogether.

Jeffrey Archer's short stories are always entertaining. Despite the length of each, I let myself be thoroughly immersed in its recount, and always love the twist at the end. One can scarcely not be delighted at reading such finely crafted work.

A wonderful collection of stories I quite enjoyed. Archer has the ability to draw your attention in just a few pages and keep you thinking long after you have finished

Clever little short stories with pleasing twists. Other than being set in multiple countries there was no discernible theme, so I found this work harder to return to. I think I will return to his longer novels.

Basically a decent collection of short stories set all over the world. Decent read, quick read, nothing outstanding or brilliant, except for the twist in the last tale, Caste-Off.
