meh. I read it to see what the fuss was about. Not impressed with his science.

I enjoy watching my friends magically shrinky-dink in a month when they do this cleanse. It is a solid way of eating and healing the body of all sorts of ills. The cardiologist MD author used it to heal his own depression and irritable bowel syndrome. Almost identical to Mark Hyman's work, but as they both practice Functional Medicine, that makes sense. Junger's writing style and the story of his own healing journey makes a more entertaining read, which tends to be more motivational.

Skip to ch. 7. The other chapters are just a waste telling you toxins are bad. Overly verbose!
