      Only realised that this was abridged that explains the rushed turn of events. Plays like a Thatchers Greatest Hits, Falklands, miners strike, privatisation etc. No Section 28, the biggest health emergency of her time in power, the Aids epidemic and zero mention of her council tax debacle.

      She was spot on in predicting a nationalist Russia reemerging as a threat to peace and stability. Like or loathe the Iron Lady she had more wisdom, backbone and integrity than the entire Johnson cabinet.

      Comprehensive, witty and emotive. Perhaps a little too comprehensive in some areas - but a politician talking too much sorta comes with the territory. Loved it!

      I was kind of disappointed, because it seemed to me like a laundry list of "and then I did this, and then I did that, and then I met this head of state, and then this bloody fool stabbed me in the back, and the liberals said this stupid thing." I am by no means a fan of her politics, but I used to love to watch the PM's Question Time on C-SPAN because she was a marvelous debater. Maybe the volume that covers her early years would be more interesting to me.
