About this audiobook
Jenna Tucker has had enough: She wants out of her family's moonshine business-for good. With her share of the proceeds from a recently revealed recipe, Jenna intends to renovate her grandfather's old spread and focus on her true passion: breeding horses. When she finds an old trunk in the attic-and learns a big secret about the long-standing feud between her family and the Sawyers-Jenna realizes that escaping her family's legacy won't be so easy . . .
Now it's up to Jenna to uncover the truth once and for all-one that could change the history of Rebel, Texas, forever. To complete her mission, she must enlist the help of sheriff Hunter DeMassi. Hunter, a direct descendant of patriarch Elijah Sawyer, just might be the key to solving the age-old mystery. The only catch: Hunter is handsome as heck, and neither he nor Jenna can deny the fiery attraction that's brewing between them. Is this a surefire recipe for ill-fated romance? Or are Jenna and Hunter just what their families need to heal old wounds?
Contains mature themes.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/53.5 StarsThis is the third book in the Rebel Moonshine series, although the novel can be read as a stand-alone. The physical romance builds up nicely, ending in a steamy relationship. However, even though the chemistry is spot on, the other parts of the romance are missing for most of the story, until the end. There's lots of potential here, but in reality, it falls short every once in a while. It's still a good book and part of a good series, so I will look for the author's next work. The characters are wonderful, from the two MCs to the great grandmother to the friendly bootlegger, and the writing flows easily. For romance fans.Net Galley Feedback
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Tempting Texas by Kimberly RayeRebel Moonshine #3What fun! Two wild child types all grown up who are ready to put their impulsive behavior behind them and be responsible adults meet and find that their chemistry is off the charts. Do they dare give in to their needs or do they bury them deep and ignore them to continue on with being what they think is expected of them? Jenna Tucker is a veterinarian with a new dream. She wants to build something equine related and finally has the money to do so. When Sheriff Hunter DeMassi suddenly and unexpectedly shows up one night her plans, and his, have the potential to be derailed. This story tells a bit about the past of Jenna and Hunter, brings in some letters written in the early 1940’s that are relevant to both of them, deals with the moonshiners, throws in a secondary romance, ties up a few loose ends from the previous two books, and has a HEA ending. I am eager to read the next book in the series, if there is one, because I would love to know what will happen to Gator and Ryder. Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC. This is my honest review.4 Stars
