About this audiobook
One of the most cunning and ruthless warriors in the history of the Galactic Empire, Grand Admiral Thrawn is also one of the most captivating characters in the Star Wars universe, from his introduction in bestselling author Timothy Zahn's classic Heir to the Empire through his continuing adventures in Dark Force Rising, The Last Command, and beyond. But Thrawn's origins and the story of his rise in the Imperial ranks have remained mysterious. Now, in Star Wars: Thrawn, Timothy Zahn chronicles the fateful events that launched the blue-skinned, red-eyed master of military strategy and lethal warfare into the highest realms of power-and infamy.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5O livro foi genial! Nota 10. A must read for fans of the EU
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Star Wars:Thrawn serves as excellent ancillary material to the Star Wars Rebels TV show (or perhaps the other way around!!??), bringing surprising depth to a “mindless villain” in Governor Pryce, as well as a fascinating case study of Chiss warrior philosophy and the Grand Admiral’s quick rise in rank. Unfortunately, a large focus on Pryce’s journey may seem a bit confusing or even unnecessary to fans unfamiliar or uninterested with the show. Mark Thompson does an amazing job voicing familiar and new characters alike.
I really hope a trilogy of films can one day adapt Zahn’s new trilogy of Thrawn novels!
Highly recommended! - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A fantastic audiobook ! Well done by Marc Thompson. I read the hardcover novel while also listening to the audiobook. This project was well presented and brings the reader to the actual actions from the novel. I’m ready to continue with the next installment of this trilogy. Timothy Zahn remains my favorite Star Wars novel author.
