About this audiobook
When shy programmer, Charlie, is dragged to a "Magic Mike" club in Hollywood by his co-workers, the last thing he expects is to be pulled onstage. But when he's approached by Ramon, a dancer whose only focus is to bring him pleasure, something awakens in Charlie that can't be denied.
Yet heated attraction only goes so far when one man dreams of true love and a life finally fulfilled, and the other is still grieving the one he lost, and the mistake that cost him everything.
Can a realist and a dreamer from two different worlds move forward and build a future together, or will their painful pasts keep them from fulfilling their destiny?
Contains mature themes.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This was one of the worst books I have suffered through recently. Charlie is whiny, immature, selfish, jealous, basically all the red flags. And Ramon is just this weird, kinda racist, projection of what Charlie thinks his Latin lover should be. I won't even get into the ableism with the sister or how women were portrayed as wholly irrational.
I read one of the author's other books a few years ago and liked it, but this was not for me.
The narrator was good - he did the best he could with what he had to work with. - Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This was a disappointment!
The main character, Charlie, made this book too difficult to finish. Charlie Is immature, needy, jealous and rather impossible to like. At times he behaves like a desperate teenager, literally saying things like “why don’t you like me” and, when told he’s not Ramon’s type , “I can change”!! It was hard to believe this weak willed “boy” was able to hold a job successfully and garner respect.
I admit that I quit listening about a third of the way through. I felt there are too many good books available to waste more time on this one. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It was okay, but suffered a lot from the “drama scenarios are a little too out there” and “extreme jealousy with bad communication” like from Unforgiven. I liked the idea of Charlie having a supportive sister but the way that they interact didn’t feel very sibling like besides the fact that they cared about each other. I had to skip a few scenes because the drama was so bizarre or predictable that it made me roll my eyes and I didn’t want to bother. Again, I didn’t like the jealousy issues, which also stem over from Unforgiven. I also felt like Eric London kept forgetting what kind of voice he gave Ramon as it would start one way and then end up sounding more like his regular voice. Less sex scenes than in Unforgiven, which I was more than fine with at first, and then I felt like they had just been replaced with the meh drama/conflict scenes and I kinda wished there were more.
