About this audiobook

This Christmas, Nicole will meet her girlfriend's parents for the first time. If she makes it there alive.

Nicole couldn't be more nervous about shaking hands with Darla's mother and father. Her own family hasn't exactly been supportive. But on her way to their house in rural Maryland, she nearly collides with a barefoot old woman standing in the road. From there, strange things start to happen. A chase through the snow, a stone cottage in the woods, a raging fire. Will Nicole make it out alive?

Listened to this while trying to fall asleep. Didn’t fall asleep, but did throughly enjoy the story! A sweet eerie story, not scary, a great balance.

No espere que me gustara tanto idk why. Pero fue muy lindo, aunque por un momento intrincado, y me hizo sentir algo muy lindo al final. Y AMO a la narradora

The story might have been great but I wasn’t able to get through more than six minutes. The narrator needs a little more practice...

The writing was paced well, the narrator was fine at 1.5, the story was too short. It got preachy at then and a little too sweet for my taste, but then, the last two lines posed an interesting question-and then ended. I would read this as a novella or a novel to see where the story went based on those last two lines.
