About this audiobook

Devoted father or merciless killer?
His secrets are buried with him.

Florence Lovelady's career was made when she convicted coffin-maker Larry Glassbrook of a series of child murders 30 years ago. Like something from our worst nightmares the victims were buried...ALIVE.

Larry confessed to the crimes; it was an open and shut case. But now he's dead, and events from the past start to repeat themselves. Did she get it wrong all those years ago? Or is there something much darker at play?

I think this is the best of Sharon’s books. I’ve listened to quite a few. They’re all so different and enjoyable.

Intriguing and disturbing psychological thriller all rolled into one. Bit of a slow burner to start off that didn’t grip me straight away but when it did it didn’t let go. The plot is one that is really interesting but also hard to guess what’s coming which is always a plus and it definitely throws a lot of twists and turns at you. There is a strong theme running that isn’t one I would usually go for but it added a different spin to the storyline. I love a strong female character and you definitely get that with Florence. She just doesn’t give up and stands her ground. I really liked herself and Tom as a duo. I was a little disappointed with how it all came together but that shouldn’t put anyone else off as its more of a personal thing and showed how invested I was then how the plot played out. I found this one very good in audio form and it really added to the experience.
