About this audiobook
Letters to the Church reminds listeners how powerful the Church can be and calls this generation to passionately pursue God’s vision for His beloved Bride.
God’s Church started as a radical, spiritually intimate gathering of believers that ultimately changed history. Yet millions today are content to be mere observers at church. Many more have left, brokenhearted and cynical. But God is waking up His people—people who will risk anything and sacrifice everything to be the dynamic, world-changing Church of Scripture.
In Letters to the Church, Francis Chan invites listeners to wrestle with the fact that many churches have drifted from God’s desire for them. He challenges Christians to ask, “What does God want for His Church? When Jesus returns, will He find us caring for His Bride—even more than for our own lives?”
Speaking out of deep love for the Church, Chan guides Christ followers to live out God’s magnificent and beautiful vision for His Church—a vision we may have lost but God has never forgotten.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is everything, i have always sought the church to be and i have hopped from church to church looking for it. I got baptized into ICOC. It was the frist Group of people that looked like and taught like the first Church. I was Grateful for the understanding and for God Grace and timing, because i had been prayer for Years to find those who love him IN TRUTH AND SPIRIT. These people are rare, but i am overwhelmingly Thankful for God Guiding me and this book is so right and on point and at times hard to take because of the truth. But I'd rather hear and have a hard truth that leads to repeating than a nice, soft, sugar coated lie that leads to spiritually death.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book excites and challenges me. It excites because church really can look like what we read about in Acts, and God wants it to look that way. A family characterized by supernatural love, where everyone uses their God given gifts to make disciples. It challenges me because I’ve grown comfortable in a church model that is nothing like that. This book helped remove my blinders, convict me, and encourage me to help make church the beautiful bride Jesus desires. This book is for those humble enough to challenge the way church is thought of here in the United States. Highly recommend it.

It’s a must read and a great book for you library. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book gave me some new insight into what the church could look like. I appreciated the amount of scripture Francis Chan presented and plan to ponder his words further. Highly recommended.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Fantastic book about getting back to simple principles in our churches!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book completely challenged the way I view the western church. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is in ministry for a refresher on the biblical view of Church.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Fresh insight to what seems to be an age old problem in the church of America. Very convicting regarding humility: it is something I should strive for and for which I should ask the Lord. There are some phenomenal church leaders out there. But I do challenge them to consider whether or not status quo is working.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Fantastic book. Francis chan is humble but truthful. Inspiring and challenging. Scripture based book and example led. He admits his failings in the past and empowers the insignificant in the heirarchy of the church to be inspired to change and be active in the church body of Christ. Worth listening to again.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is an excellent book, it isn't your average Christian book, it really talks about issues that we need to consider in how we function as a church. This book is mostly geared towards pastors, but also wonderful points to consider and pray about for everyone.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was an excellent book. The message is one that all 21st century Westernized followers of Jesus need to hear.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Insightful and challenging and utterly true. Really Worth listening to.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book will challenge you to rethink the way many Americans approach church in a consumerism mindset. The author is humble in his truth speaking, not intending to criticize or give us permission to criticize pastors and church staff. The Bible is clear that every believer is responsible for making disciples. Prepare to rethink everything you thought you knew.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Not my favorite for sure. I purchased the small group curriculum based on previous books which were awesome. This one however did not meet expectations.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is a very book it cost me to re-evaluate not only my church but also my life
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Thought provoking, inspiring and humble. May God bless you And keep you!!!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was just the book I needed at this point in my ministry. I want to lead our church to what God really wants us to be.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5JFK had a famous quote which asked the American people to reconsider what they were able to give to their country instead of demanding that the country give to them. I think this book asks the same of Christians, to reconsider their attitude toward church and recommit to New Testament principles we see lived out in the Acts of the Apostles instead of being perpetrating the American consumerism mindset
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Excellent book, truly a blessing, it's worth every moment of it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Not only pastors but every Christian should read this book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book should open the minds of every believer! The Acts New Testament gathering is portrayed here!!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Radical. This is a challenging book for anyone that is involved in a church community. But a fresh perspective well worth the read.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Insightful and practice vision on what a healthy church looks like. A compelling vision of how we can return to the roots of Christianity for a more fruitful faith and fellowship.
