About this audiobook
Thrust into an unknown, unwanted situation, most would feel panic, fear anger and fall into chaos. Erik and Rugrat are not immune to those feelings, but they have stepped into chaos so many times, it is simply a different challenge.
Two weeks ago, Erik lost his legs and his arm.
Today he got a message.
"You have been randomly selected to join the Ten Realms. One may choose to ascend the Ten Realms, thereupon making a request to the Gods of the Realms.
Only those who are Level 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, and 90 may ascend to the next realm.
Fortune favors the strong!"
For a retired combat medic and Marine Recon sniper, the Ten Realms offer a clear challenge and sense of purpose that they had only found on the battlefield.
How much trouble can you get into in a new realm?

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Rough start, but the story and writing improved a lot by the middle of the book. Totally worth sticking with it. On to the next book!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Excellent book, a very enjoyable read/listen worth the time, awesome
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I wish I didn't start this before my exams...it was to good to not want to binge through, and I am very excited for what's next in The Two Week Curse. You'll be glad you picked up this book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The start of the book was a bit confusing, not having read the synopsis I was not sure whether I had the right book, but I am so glad a stuck to it and kept listening. Very interesting concept and thoroughly enjoyable. Only negative thing I can say is that some aspects of the book is a bit repetitive (the in game screen messages) and these could've been shortened I feel, but that's not enough to make me stop listening to the book. Book 2, here I come!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A very rewarding read with intelligent and entertaining main characters, great story and man oh man, a multitude of possibilities being set up for future books.
Creative powers/spells and situations being solve with the help of a military background was a new view point compared to other fantasy/sci fi books I’ve read/listen to.
Serious moments and comedic moments helped to keep myself listening and engaged as the story was not one dimensional, and the fact that there are two main characters allowed there to never really be a boring moment.
I don’t know how the other books after this compare, but this was above my expectations so I will continue on in the series and I hope that others will give this book a try as it’s well worth it. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was slow to start, and I didn’t understand the direction to begin with, but it was worth sticking with it. I enjoyed the heartwarming tale of the two adventurers working together for the good of those around them.
