About this audiobook

I’m thinking it’s finally got to be my turn.

I've got no man and no money. Nothing but a personality and a smile.

But maybe that's enough this time.

The richest guy in New York is looking for a secretary, and lucky for me, he’s young and as hot as sin.

Too bad he’s an alpha asshole rich boy who’s stuck on himself. Nothing I do is right.

Throw in a crazy ex and a father that can’t stand anything that breathes in his personal space, and I. Am. Out.

He can find someone else to take notes and get his coffee.

I’m fine being broke and single. I’ve gotten good at it.

Besides, I’m not interested in a billionaire affair.

Or am I already in too deep to leave?

Sure as hell feels that way.

Narrator was terrible. The story was ok. Don’t ever want to hear this woman’s voice again.

    Audible Review
Stephanie is in need of a new job and her friend pushes her to apply for a secretary position for the young billionaire Jeremiah Williams. Little did she know where that job would take her and the unsettling journey to get there.

This audio is good but a little long. The narrators did a good job, Lacey Laurel and Gregory Salines portraying Steph and Jerr and their voices keep my attention from start to finish. The story is good but at times a little far fetched for being believable but it is a book after all and we read or listen to escape reality. I did enjoy that Stephanie wasn't a pencil thin girl, she has curves and Jerr appreciates them. I also liked that even though he has grown up with wealth he isn't solely drawn to that world. I would give the story a strong 3.5 and the narration a 4.

If you are looking for a romance filled with intrigue, a bit of drama, deceit, betrayal and lots of chemistry then this book has it all. Find out how these two main characters navigate this complex world to eventually find true love. I found the audio to be a bit long but considering it was all the books in one, it makes sense. There is the sassy, feisty Stephanie who is not your normal reed think model type and then there is the bad boy billionaire, Jeremiah, who is soft and caring despite the hard persona. I received a complimentary audio copy of the book and am voluntarily writing this review.

Definitely an affair to shout about

Overall I love this book, the audio performance conveyed the appropriate tone and switching narrators based on the chapter perspective worked for me. If one is reading the books (The Billionaire Offer, The Billionaire Arrangement, The Billionaire Affair) of the In Too deep series and the audio simultaneously there were a few deviations (less than 10) from the printed book, but they did not detract from the overall story and would not be noticed otherwise.

    Story content review:
Stephanie, a bookstore clerk, is pushed by her best friend to apply for a position at Williams Inc. working as a secretary for Jeremiah, the once spare heir. As the story progresses masks begin to fall away, obsession comes calling and a battle is fought for their future. This book features an affair to shout about with a sassy female and a bad boy with a marshmallow center buried under a rock hard exterior. I was so drawn into their story and lives in the first few chapters.

I received a free audio copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

This was well written and a I liked the romance. The relationship was sweet and believable overall but I hate how insecure the heroine was. From what I can tell she’s about a size 10/12, curvy, and generally pretty attractive. But she gripes about EVERYTHING to the point I started thinking maybe she really was a hag. The story itself is a little drawn out. Other than that I liked the hero, and both their sets of friends. And the plot as a whole.

Decent Story but was really long and dragged out. Lots of duplication with the h telling herself why she cannot date. The issue is real but this seemed a bit more extreme than it needed to be.

It is a good story and the H can apparently pull O's multiple times from the h just by breathing... ??

Woah I thought the e copy of this book was an intensely passionate, chemistry fueled and ping pong banter was a match of epic romance proportions!
The audio version blows that out of the water!
Between the humorous and tension build up behind the characters and the ease of the intricate storyline line, I could not imagine anyone else cast for their roles!
Lacy Laurel and Gregory Salinas are a fantastic duo!
A detailed, heart, and heated romance that is well worth the listen!!
Time just flew by- I highly recommend this audiobook!

I'm the type of person who likes to read a series from start to finish without having to wait for the next book to come out so the audiobook version was perfect for me. For the most part I couldn't tell when one book ended and the next picked up except for a review of the back-story (in case I hadn't read the previous book). Overall, you've got two unlikely characters coming together with amazing chemistry. There are many obstacles in their way, including Jeremiah's cruel, cold father. He rules with an iron fist and nothing is good enough for him after the death of the beloved heir, Jack. I liked the characters, including Stephanie's best friend, Tiana, and Jeremiah's crew (Tanner, Shawn, Blake) and how they rallied around each other when they needed a boost. Throw in a crazy ex-secretary and things get really interesting. There are plenty of ups and downs and danger for sure as the story plays out. I can imagine being frustrated if I read each book separately and then had to wait to find out what happened next, so this was definitely the way to go for me. I love listening to audiobooks to make my commute more enjoyable, or while I'm cooking or cleaning. I also liked the actors selected to play Stephanie and Jeremiah.

It was good. It was slow like others mentioned but I got used to it. Gregory Salinas is a fantastic narrator, but the female narrator was a bit annoying. Not the worst I’ve ever heard but not great.

I wanted to like this book…but some of the descriptions were so awkward and off putting/a turn off. I made it a few chapters before I couldn’t listen to it anymore. Maybe it gets better as the book goes along? But I just couldn’t continue

I was simultaneously reading and listening this book and it was a great experience. Narrators really added another dimension to this story and were able to convey all emotions surrounding the main characters!

As for the storyline, although a bit lengthy, I really enjoyed it. Both Jeremiah and Stephanie were likable, well developed characters with great chemistry. Their story was filled with drama, suspense, and lots of steamy moments. I also liked their friends who were great secondary characters!

I voluntarily reviewed a free audio copy of the book.
