      I feel like I have only scratched the service of the wealth of insights, research, affirmations, and advice that is brought together in this work. I know that I will be listening to it again in the very near future. As a Black woman in the US, I wondered how much of what I would hear would connect to my own experience, but what I found is that while there is definitely a great diversity, there are many shared experiences, insights, and advice that are global. Also, because some of the research shared in the box was from American researchers, I was learning about my own history and sociology, and I was then able to connect to that to the larger experience. I also want to learn more about many of the diverse Black British women who are either referred to through the text or whose voices I was able to hear from directly.
