I read this book awhile back and when I saw Lori Prince was narrating, I was hesitant to listen to jt. Ms Prince and I have a hit or miss relationship with her narration. Personally I enjoyed her performance. She was funny and the character voices helped make the humor of the book come to life.

Horrible narration! I struggle to finish and gave up at the end! I would rather read ebook instead of listening to Lori prince! Cringe!!!

This lighthearted rom-com was exactly what I needed after a couple of weeks of rage and upset over events in the world. There were lots of laughs and fun characters and even a bit of sex added to the mix.

If you've already read any Robin Alexander books, you'll very likely have a good time reading this one. If you haven't read anything by the author but are looking for something to bring a little laughter into your day - and can overlook head-hopping - this might be the one for you.

I really enjoy Robin's books. They are great to read after emotionally charged stories. There is usually one of two characters that I can relate to. Not in a vagina hat, chicken dance kind of way, but relatable none the less. ;)
Jodi and Val make a great couple and their friends are not only supportive, but down to earth and funny. I can't imagine anyone growing up in a house with parents like Jodie's and turning out even semi-normal. Val's Aunt Karen (sp?) reminds me of the grandmother. Whenever me and my cousins spent the night at her house and it thundered outside, she would turn off all the lights and make everyone sleep in the same room. We never asked why and hated every minute of it.
