About this ebook

Jin Duyen, a young investigative journalist, is working on a magazine article about the origins of Christmas' many traditions. After some research, she traces them back to Selah, a remote town in the Midwest. Despite being plagued by what she hopes are only nightmares, she travels there in pursuit of her story.

Amy Carson, a private investigator from a nearby town, decides to look into several cases of missing children which have gone unsolved. The authorities have ceased their own searches, so with little else to do during the holiday season, she heads to Selah as well.

Oddly, the residents of Selah aren't caught up in the festivities that the rest of the world is taking part in. No one wants to talk about Christmas, there's an absence of lights and decorations, and some become violent when approached. Jin persists in her investigation and eventually visits a site she'd been warned to stay away from. A site that some say brings a curse upon anyone who goes near. Soon Jin realizes that her search for the truth may cost her more than she ever realized...

Ryan Callaway

Ryan Callaway grew up in "Weird NJ" on stories about the Jersey Devil and some of the other local lore. He started writing at an early age and almost immediately teachers and others around him noticed his talent. One of his early stories was read out loud every Friday to an eager 7th grade English class. At the age of 16 Ryan wrote the novel "Six Faces" which later became his first published book. Since then he's written several novels, and recently branched out into the world of film production. He has several screenplays and two soon-to-be-distributed films under his belt. Other stints included a year as a co-host on a national radio program, and other related speaking engagements. Ryan continues to write in the horror and suspense genres.
