    Welcome! This book is intended to teach you the different types of manga characters. And, of course, this will also be your guide to learn how to draw them. I have a great deal of fondness for manga and anime, which is why I never stopped learning how to draw them right from the very moment I realized that I wanted to become an artist.

    Manga is a Japanese word for comics. These are comics that originated in Japan. There are different types of manga created for readers from children to adults and light comedy to emotionally dark stories. In Japan, people of all ages are reading manga. They even have cafés for manga where the readers can drink coffee while reading the Japanese comics or manga magazines that usually contains twenty to forty pages in a chapter.

    Manga illustration is one of the most popular modern arts. The complexity of drawing manga would depend on the artist. I always follow what my emotions want to draw and let the hand do the talking. Using drawing as a stress-reliever really helps a lot. You can create your own unique style in drawing manga characters.
