Vampires, Aliens and Humanoids – Which one are you?

Every book starts off with a dedication and not wishing to buck this trend I dedicate this, my first offering to my husband – my very own personal vampire and to the concealment of the light because in my search for the truth, this book was born.

To Richard - my very own personal vampire.

    Introduction

Alien, Vampire or Humanoid – which one are you?

I bet you have never given this question any serious thought, it’s probably something that has never even crossed your mind but in asking this question I am asking you to open your minds to the Invisible Energy Forces of the Universe.

This book is about those Invisible Energy Forces, they are both within us and surround us and my aim is to open your mind to these unique energies and to enable you to utilize this limitless source to enhance and create balance in your life.

Using this Life Force (energy), we can be mighty people! Making the impossible happen, creating miracles and teachings that will bring about change and happiness to ALL of mankind. With the understanding of these energies we can then begin to harness and manage these very powerful forces, using them to enhance our lives and attain our maximum potential out of our time here on Planet Earth.

A Force (energy) is a push or a pull, or more generally, anything that can change an object's speed or direction of motion. (Forces may fail to change an object's motion if they are cancelled by other forces, e.g., the Force of gravity pulling you down right now is being cancelled by the Force of the chair pushing up on you.)

What does this have to do with Vampires, Aliens and Humanoids I hear you cry!

Like most books this one has evolved over a period of time, not just weeks, but many, many years. It has been verbalized and discussed, usually after several glass’s of wine and Capriosca’s (my favorite Russo/Italian cocktail) – giving me the confidence to discuss my theories without, in my mind’s eye, being carried off to a lunatic asylum. Although, once or twice, I came very close to hospitalization, but I am not sure, if this, was down to my embryonic theory or too much alcohol!

Well, that's not exactly true, I do know, it was the alcohol, but my theory sparked some lively discussions with friends and strangers alike!

Sometimes when you challenge everyday beliefs it can look like an extortion of the facts, at the worst normal people just think you are mad, a few bob short of a pound note! It can become unbelievable but I am hoping to turn these facts and fiction on their head by making the unbelievable become believable.

By giving these invisible forces a name, we will be conjuring up their magic, opening ourselves to the secret powers of the Universe.

The fiction fact and vice versa.

What I am interested in talking about is you, me, all of us as people, I am interested in finding out about the invisible energy that surrounds each and every one of us, which is part of our make up and will in turn determine our interactions with each other and the other animal kingdoms.

Have you ever noticed how certain people can make you feel? Even before they have spoken to you or you to them, maybe you will never even speak to them, sometimes it can be more than one person, perhaps even a roomful of people – but have you ever noticed how you feel in these circumstances?

Every now and again, STOP and just see how you feel about where you are, whom you are with, or even what you are doing. Go on stop right now and just for a few minutes look around you and make a mental note of how you feel.

When we are in other people’s presence it can have a complicated, often heightened or intensified effect on the way we feel and in turn how they feel, even how they then inter-react with us and others, and this is the basis behind my theory and this book, it is based on the invisible energy that is in and around each and every one of us, it is our very being, it is a connectivity an interaction that make us what we are.

It is meant to provoke thought, whether it is in jest during a drinking session, a night out with the girls or boys, when you are on your own in a moment of quiet contemplation or even on a more serious level to further develop your knowledge to enhance your search for your own truth.

If it ends up getting you thinking and watching, then maybe, it may even help you to protect yourself from in particular, the negative energies that surround us and that drain our very being, or as an opposite, being over enthusiastic, wanting to party all night with an excess of positive energy– which can equally cause chaos and disruption to ours and others lives.

It will promote and teach us to use to our full benefit the invisible energies that abound for us all – we just have to be in the right frame of mind and understand the complexities of the different energies and then, just like baking a cake, put together the right mix. Sometimes just by changing the people we are with at certain times in our life, will produce the right type of energy and by learning to use this energy to your advantage it can help you to deal with the stress’s and strains of every day life.

Each year my thoughts change and expand and therefore this is just the start of the journey and is by no means a finished study, it is a working living thing and although this is the start, it changes and grows just as life it self-changes. It is one that will expand and be re-written in time, never quite a finished project as it expands and takes on new meaning, not just now in my lifetime but, hopefully, for generations to come.

This is written after many years of discussing my theory with whoever would listen; I have had lots of fun discussing and researching this book. It is written as a fun introduction into the complex area of our aura’s and the invisible energy forces and the lesser-known energy patterns that we all hold within us and around us.

Although this is meant to be taken seriously, read between the lines, use it to expand and open your mind, it is not to be used to create friction between my fellow human beings; because the last thing I want is a war between Vampires, Aliens and Humans!

When reading this book I would ask you to discard all your natural thoughts about actual beings as we know them and our perception of Vampires, Aliens and Humanoids as are portrayed in magazines and movies, please, all I ask is that you keep an open mind.

What I am trying to explain is the different life energy forces which are inside and surrounding us, different energies, life forces, that make up our very being, energies that can both connect and disconnect, uniting each and every one of us – invisible energies.

Our Aura is an invisible energy force that surrounds each and every one of us, including all life forms including foliage and animals. Everything has its own invisible energy field surrounding it and much more is starting to be understood about these natural forces. But I am exploring how, just as a plant gets energy and growth from the sun through osmosis, mankind can transfer and learn to utilise this personal natural, and unlimited energy source. It makes up our very being and with understanding it, we can gain energy both positive and negative and can learn to change our attitude, our own lives and those of others around us, so that we all live in perfect harmony.

We must learn to wake up and learn the skills of our ancestors, skills that are lying dormant within all of us. We must learn to see things around us with more than our eyes, we have to learn to resurrect other dormant senses, in particular our sense of feeling of intuition and the willingness to learn more about the Laws of Creation, lifting our eyes beyond this earth and recognise the path our energy [soul] takes both during and after this earthly life so that we can become aware of the importance of our lives and live them to their absolute full potential.

I can only hope that whether or not you are rich or poor, happy or sad, healthy or ill of health, that this book will help you to learn and recognise these invisible energies, in doing so, each and every one of us can live a happy and totally fulfilling life, with all the experiences both positive and negative that for the very being of our lives, bringing joy and happiness to all.

For me it has been an amazing journey, it has opened up new opportunities, new avenues to explore, new friends with shared knowledge, opening up doorways to more subjects that I ever envisioned studying but which I now have increased interests and a passion for my journey of continual learning, understanding and sharing as the invisible energy forces respond to the different stimuli of the Universe.

I can even sing in tune!!

So I thank the Universe for leading me to this place of discovery and I hope that this might be the start of an equally magical journey for you.

Many of the subjects in this book could have a book written about them in their own right (and many do – some recommended reading at the end) but this is designed to wet your appetite and who knows where your journey of discovery will take you.

And as always looking forward if there is anyone wishing to add to my thoughts, with stories to help transport the next book into a different realm then please feel free to drop me an email: vampiresaliensandhumanoids@gmail.com

    CHAPTER 1

    Vampires

Vampire –vam’pur n 1. A dead person imagined to rise by night and suck the blood of sleeping people.

    Chambers English Dictionary

We’ve all watched the thrilling, scary vampire movies keeping us pinned to our seats with awe and anticipation. Enjoying that heart thumping, heart stopping moment when something unexpected jumps out of a cupboard, or at that unexpected shadow in the background, or the crescendo of music which, is normally followed by a short but noticeable pause and then a gut retching magic movie moment which digs deep into our very being the very soul of our imagination.

Our hearts pound, all of our senses alert scanning all around us for danger. The moment has reached the very core of our being as our imaginations take over, every movement, and every sound, heightened in anticipation of what will happen next, taking seconds (sometimes longer) before the effects subside.

Of course most of us do not believe that these Vampires exist although even today there are a band of people who strive to emulate their Vamparic hero's, they even be considered extremist for their views; only coming out at night, because if they did come out during the day they believe that they would evaporate in the glaring sunlight, and be returned to the depths of Hell itself!

They wear dark clothes, blood red lipstick and in extreme cases even drink other ‘willing’ peoples blood, (although I am not sure that I could willingly let someone drink my blood!) They try to live the life of the vampire as portrayed in the movies.

Count Dracula in his Gothic cobweb encrusted castle, the flickering candlelight and the dark dank depths of the mud and cobweb laden dungeons - the ideal hiding place for the lavish coffin with the red or purple velvet insides, the daily resting place of the father of vampires and ideal breeding ground for the sun fearing blood suckers.

In true Hollywood style, beautiful, bountiful women tempt the average man, and handsome, intelligent men who long for the luscious curling waves of iridescent hair flowing over the crisp clean starch white pillow, overflowing down the edge of the bed never quite covering the pale youthful flesh of the victim’s neck, so that once she is bitten and the vampire has drunk her blood, her beauty increases and she turns into the luscious, temptress that no man can turn down in order to capture and lure the unsuspecting victims in her quest for blood and survival.

The handsome muscle bound young men, portraying all the things we all wish to maintain, youth, beauty, muscles, strength, God like image, boundless energy, and not forgetting the promise of eternal life plenty of time for those animalistic, lustful encounters. In his eyes he is doing her a favour she will join him in eternal youth to walk the earth as a living dead, his lustful thoughts pushed aside as the half sleeping beauty is drained almost to the point of death of her life’s blood.

Only to reawaken even more curvaceous and beautiful with all the powers of age defying skills, never to see a wrinkle, droopy boobs or any of the other attributes of the human form, that plagues us all as we age with varying degrees of grace and decorum – forever living and walking the eternal path of life – whether she wanted to or not.

As true predators they take time, day’s months to tempt and tease. Luring you into a false sense of security, wrapping you in passion and love so that by the time they reveal their forked teeth it is to late you are already totally mesmerised and under their power.

Such is this power, its almost an addiction like that bar of chocolate that you know you shouldn’t eat, you know that it is going to put at least two lbs onto your hips, but that overwhelming power from within cannot be denied, you want them, you want them so much that all sense and reason go out through the window and you are now ready to let them have your very being, blind to the implications of a true addiction.

Unable to break loose of the invisible hold, a hold with its magical powers upon you forever, enabling you to walk amongst us as one of the living dead, one of them – a vampire.

But is this portrayal of a Vampire entirely accurate?

The origin of the vampire is unknown but vampire legend can be traced back to the earliest times of human civilization, to the Assyrians, the Babylonians and other cultures of the ancient Orient. These vampires where not suave, or sophisticated, as they are portrayed in the countless movies that are as popular today, they were monsters.

There was the bloodsucking Akhkharu, described in Sumerian mythology, some believe the word meaning as a form of seductress vampire, and later vampire like spirits called the Lilu in Babylonian demonology. There are many websites on the Internet should you wish to research this further, however, beware!

Vampires can be found in many early poems and this is an extract from Lord Byron’s Poem The Giaour a fragment of a Turkish tale, notable for its reference to vampirism

Bear witness, Greece, thy living page!

Attest it many a deathless age!

Whilst kings, in dusty darkness hid,

    Have left a nameless pyramid,

Thy heroes, though the general doom,

Hath swept the column from their tomb,

    A mightier monument command,

The mountains of their native land!

There points thy Muse to stranger’s eye,

The graves of those that cannot die

The Hollywood icon as we know of them today is a far cry from Byron’s portrayal, or of Transylvania and one of the believed origins of the modern vampire. The original vampire as we know him was created by an English author called John William Polidori (07/09/1798 – 24/08/1798), a physician of Italian decent published in April 1819 with his novel The Vampyre.

Much to the annoyance of Lord Byron The Vampyre was wrongly attributed to him. The lead character Lord Ruthven’s portrayal of the vampire as a debauched aristocrat and perhaps the fact that the book was inspired by an unfinished story by Byron (denied by Polidori), did little to suppress the incorrect attribution. Polidori did nothing to dispel the link to Byron as it greatly increased the sales of his book!

As in all early vampire stories, this book was based on the superstitions from the East mainly among the Arabians and it only spread to the Greeks after the establishment of Christianity. In particular at the time of the split of the Latin and Greek churches.

A time when the Greeks believed that the Latin body did not rot if buried within their soil, but the body would gradually awaken, this being the foundation of many a wonderful story, of the dead rising from their graves and feeding on the blood of the young and beautiful.

In the West there was already a belief that The Vampire existed, with his nightly walks and need of the blood of their victims. But here their victims did not live to walk in eternal youth with them but slowly lost their strength, became emancipated and died of consumption. Whilst the Vampire became fatter and fatter, their veins distended to such an extent that it caused the blood to flow from all the passages of their bodies and in time even through the pores of their skin. Gruesome!

In John Polidori’s book The Vampyre he makes reference to an article in The London Journal of March 1732. The article was both curious and at the time a credible account of vampirism stated to have taken place at Madreyga, in Hungary. After the death of Arnold Paul, it was heard to say that whilst he was travelling through Cassovia on the frontiers of the Turkish Servia, he had been tormented by a vampire. He told how by eating the earth of the vampire’s grave and rubbing himself with his blood he had rid himself of the evil.

But it was only after his death, that many people reported having been tormented by him and four people reportedly died by his attacks. When they dug up his body vampirism was confirmed as the body was still fresh, entirely free from any rot or degradation and pure blood was coming from his mouth, nose, and ears.

It was confirmed he was a vampire and as a stake was driven through his heart it is reported that he cried out as if he were alive. They then cut off his head and burned his body. The same was done to the victims just in case they had been turned into vampires too.

But unlike the modern tales the vampire’s preference for young woman wasn’t established until much later in 1871 by Sheridan Le Fanu’s lesbian vampire heroine Carmilla.

But without a doubt Bram Stoker’s Dracula, from the first novel published in 1897 was the start of the Western Europe and in particular England’s obsession with Vampires in the late 19th Century. And where the foundations of many of the movies we love to watch to this day originated.

Transylvania is considered the home of Count Dracula but this is a difficult subject for most Romanian’, mainly due to the sizeable tourist industry centred on the literary vampire character. So they wouldn’t want to openly dispute the facts, but it has very little to do with the nearest person to portray the characteristics of the vampire, Romanian Vlad Tepes, (Vlad the Impaler).

Vlad the Impaler was notoriously cruel and the name The Impaler comes from his preferred method of execution, whereby stakes were rounded off and well oiled to stop the victims dying of shock, and allegedly tens of thousands of men, women and children were impaled at once. It is told that they could take up to 10 days to die. But as already stated the connection between Vlad the Impaler and Dracula is tenuous at best. There is no neck biting and drinking of the blood of the victims he was just notoriously vicious and sadistic preferring a slow and torturous death for his victims.

However Romanians do have their own vampires but they are much more primitive and down to earth so if you are passing through Romania give the Dracula tourist attractions a miss and visit a village pub, buy those present a drink and you will be rewarded with some truly blood curdling tales.

Like the time, once upon a time – (no sorry!), one night, a vampire appeared in the village gathering, nobody had noticed him as he was in the form of a handsome youth full of fun who joined in with the girls as they sat on the bank on the outskirts of the gathering. To all those present he looked like just another youngster enjoying the festivities.

In those days vampires were very common and would often walk amongst the evening gatherings inspiring fear and sucking blood like leeches, but this time the handsome young youth went totally unnoticed. He was very polite and joined in the girl’s conversation, telling stories and jokes as the girls rolled around in laughter.

He’d already spotted his prey and this one girl he paid special attention to, he teased her unmercifully and kept pinching her until she was black and blue. The girl dropped her staff, which was used for holding a bunch of flax, tow, or wool, from which the thread is drawn in spinning. As she bent down to pick it up she saw the tail of the vampire and warned the others "Let’s go. Run away the creature is
