    In the 1950s, a medicine was given to pregnant women suffering with ‘morning sickness’. Whilst issued with the best of intentions, the drug had devastating consequences not only on the foetuses, but also their families.

    However, despite urgent worldwide warnings against the issuance of this medicine, some countries chose to ignore the warnings. The results were nothing short of horrendous and heartbreaking.
