About this ebook
Brent Mason and Hayden Winstead can't stand each other. She plans exclusive parties for her rich family's charities. He's a rough and tumble cop who rigs explosives for a living. Could two people be any less suited for conversation? They think not and prefer to keep it that way.
Unfortunately, their two best friends are deeply, disgustingly in love. Forced together, the mutual attraction simmering beneath the surface of Brent and Hayden's non-relationship grows with every argument until it explodes into a scintillating night of mind-blowing sex. And it won't be the last, as far as Brent's concerned.
Hayden has a secret, though. Her father's company is relying on a merger to save them from financial ruin, and only Hayden's marriage to the CEO's wealthy son can secure the deal. If she's to protect her family, she'll have to forget Brent. And he has no intention of being forgotten.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Really, really liked it. Loved that things progressed quickly and it resolved itself pretty damn fast too. The chemistry between the characters felt a little forced to me, but in the end I was used to them. The sex scenes were damn hot and believable.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I think that after the previous books this one was my favorite. Della was saved from an abusive marriage from her brother Arlo-though you cant really say saved because the poor girl really suffered. I was so proud of Della having come from such horrible circumstances she picks herself up and decides she is moving on she was going to start a new chapter. Here comes Tucker, now Della has had a crush on him for about a year and since he is her brothers best friend she knows she is off limits since he treats her like a little sister, but Tucker is seeing her as so much more..They start a secret affair that ends up blowing up in Tuckers face and he regrets what he tell Della to do..I wont tell you more I hoped I piqued you interest..rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..(netgalley) voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5What a great read it had everything funny sexy kept you wondering what will happen next. If you have some great stories like this one, you can publish it on Novel Star, just submit your story to hardy@novelstar.top or joye@novelstar.top
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Most real people don't go through elaborate subterfuges like the one in this British chick lit book: Sophy made up a boyfriend Dominic to keep her parents from nagging, but OOPS, she'll need to produce him for her sister's wedding. So she hires Josh and hilarity ensues. Pleasant enough, but it never really rings true.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Light silly fun. The concept is similar to that movie staring Dermot Mulroney (sp) and Debra Messing, which I loved, so it's convoluted and sometimes cute. Great for a plane ride or an escape from reality. Not necessarily a keeper.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Okay, but NOWHERE near as good as the movie (The Wedding Date). It read very much like a first novel of a very promising author.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I was not impressed by this book as much as I wanted to be. It could be that I'm just not a fan of chick lit. The book didn't hook me at all and the humor was very dry and a bit forced. I bought it from a bargain book pile and figured I'd give it a try, but nothing I'd rush out to buy a hardcover for.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Fun, fun, fun. Just the thing after a heavy read or book hangover. LOVE the Anglo lingo.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is a very charming, fun chick lit romp. It's a funny story of crossed signals, good intentions, and witty romantic farce. No heavy reading here, but it's well done and I'd recommend it highly.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5now a film. this is a fun read, pretty predictable but the path is fun.
