    The primary purpose of this e-book is to explain to you step-by-step everything needed to apply for Canadian visitor / tourist visa. Very recently, I assisted my wife in applying for a visitor visa to come to Canada and she successfully attained it. Before applying for the visa on our own, I contacted some consultants and was surprised to know that they are charging 15,000 to 20,000 rupees, which is approximately $400, for assisting with visitor visa applications. Let me tell you this, the Canadian visitor visa application process is very simple, straightforward and you can definitely apply on your own without any consultants. I sincerely hope you do not feel the need to waste your time or money on these consultants and hope you will feel confident enough to apply for the visa yourself after going through this book. I will try to explain you as clearly as possible every step of the process.

    Ramakanth Gade (BIT, PGDBM, MBA) has an MBA from the University of British Columbia and is currently working as a business analyst for Vancouver Coastal Heath. Before coming to Canada, he worked in various positions within the IT Industry in India. During his journey to come to Canada and complete his MBA, he went through all the travails a middle class Indian student goes through before successfully attaining a student visa including not having enough money to pay immigration consultants, having no relatives in Canada to sponsor or to assist in applying for visas etc. From his own life experiences, he learned how to thoroughly search for information and how to save money by using all of the information that is readily available on the Canadian Government Immigration website.
