About this ebook

His mistress--for one night?

When New York cabdriver Zoe Drake finds a dark, brooding man on her doorestep, she doesn't know what to think--does he want something, or has Christmas come early this year?

Nick Giroux is looking for his long-lost father--not a newfound woman! But as she helps him in his search, there's something about him that makes Zoe let down her ice-cool defenses. The simmering attraction is too much, and for one night only, she's his for the taking...

But after a night like that, can Nick ever let her go?

A change of name for this one from His for the Taking to Driving him Wild was a good move. The original US title didn't quite fit but this is a good substite. Zoe works as a Cab Driver in New York and finds a very insistent man on her doorstep. However he's looking for his father and insists on hanging around while she takes care of her grand-Aunt's estate. He's a Park Ranger and doesn't see how their disparate lifestyles would lead to anything other than a one-night-stand. However he's too attracted to her for just that. Zoe also finds that she's attracted to him. It's quite enjoyable, this journey towards love between the two of them, and the characters never betray how they're portrayed. I picked this up due to a review somewhere, and they too liked it (and preferred the UK title and cover). I'd love to see this filmed, cause the expressions on some of the character's faces as they find out some things would have been priceless!
