- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I liked that the mother had become like a child.l found it funny ?. But, I didn’t like that the letters were small. If you would write the letters big, it would be amazing.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The Day My Mom Came to Kindergarten by Maureen FergusMy rating: 3 of 5 starsYou can find this review at My Favorite ThingsThe Day My Mom Came to Kindergarten by Maureen Fergus is a cute tale about how much of an utter fail a mother's visit to her daughters kindergarten class is. We may have been through kindergarten ourselves when we were young, but it's a much different, much tinier world with rules and ways of doing things that we have forgotten as adults. Very cute.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This book is a cute realistic fiction story of when mom came to kindergarten, and the child invited her to join them, but then mom couldn't seem to do anything by the rules. Kindergarten is hard work! I would love to, if I ever taught kindergarten, to start out with this book to show not only what to do, but how mom and dad might struggle to follow the rules too if that's not what they're used to.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Sometimes it's hard for mothers to let go of their children when they start school. Sometimes, it's hard on kids learning the difference between home life and school life. This interactive book is a bridge between the two and is a great way to start a discussion on the rules at school versus the rules at home. Super cute and fun!
