As a retired military family and avid RV enthusiasts, we wanted to not only use military campgrounds in our travels, but hoped to provide information on them to other military families who may also wish to visit them. Our reviews are on camping, focusing on RV use at these campgrounds, whether using travel trailers, pop-ups or motorhomes; but we look at tent camping as well. We also provide information, such as check in procedures, unusual hook-up configurations, and nearest facilities, such as gas stations. In all cases, as a reader of our books, you can be assured that we will have physically visited the campground and actually walked its grounds prior to writing a review about it. Our hope is to provide other military families the reliable information they need to make their military campground experience more enjoyable.

INTRODUCTION

This is the second in a series of reviews of military campgrounds. As a retired military family and avid RV enthusiasts, we wanted to not only use military campgrounds in our travels, but hoped to provide information on them to other military families who also may wish to visit them. Our reviews will be on camping, focusing on RV use at these campgrounds, whether with travel trailers, pop-ups, or motor homes; but we will look at tent camping as well. We also wanted to provide more information than our opinions on a campground by including information that we would have liked to know before our arrival. For example, often reviews don’t include information on check-in procedures, unusual hook up configurations, or where the nearest military facility resources, such as gas stations or medical facilities,
