- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Part of a series of fun, Medieval adventure stories that introduce mathematical concepts for young readers. This one introduces three dimensional geometry -- cones, pyramids, prisms, etc.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Another great adventure! This time involving Sir Cumference and Lady Di Ameter's son Radius' best friend vertex and his quest to find Excaliber hidden inside a mysterious cone.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Same clever humor, but this one didn't seem to teach anything useful for practical application. It showed us that "if you add the number of faces on a geometric solid to the number of its points (vertices) and then subtract the number of its edges, the answer will always be two. It works for any polyhedron..."
Yeah, but who cares? - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Another fun math adventure. They loved Edgecaliber. Radius introduced the geometric solids wonderfully.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Love the use of three dimensional figures. I really like how this book goes so well with the fifth grade math unit. This book would be a great addition to that unit. I would definately read this book before we do a project where the kids make something out of 3 dimensional shapes! Great find!
