Tony Alan Grayson
Tony Alan Grayson is a native of South Carolina, residing in Virginia. "I have always been an adventure seeker. As a kid, I was the one who formed a "tribe", led expeditions to find other tribes, and I regularly roamed more than ten miles from my house. In high school, I convinced the U.S. Navy to pay for my college degree at The Citadel. I was a lifeguard at The Isle of Palms, a Navy Pilot, a Logistician, a Program Manager, and a Joint Armed Forces Operational Planner. Through the Navy and Navy Reserve, I have seen and experienced diverse people, cultures, food, entertainment, joy, danger, and settings in North, Central, and South America, Europe, Southwest & Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Those experiences swirl in my memory, enabling me to craft diverse and detailed stories for your entertainment. I have written and published 3 full length novels in the e-book format, a guide on how I wrote and published two of the novels, and 110 articles (see them at http://ezinearticles.com/expert/Tony_A_Grayson/1798235), all of which have been published and promoted worldwide. I write for you. Take a chance. Step into a story and experience the thrill of adventure!"

Article 1: The Telegram
The Telegram is a story of perseverance during a life-altering event.
In 1902, young Victor Depaz resided in Bordeaux, France. He had been sent there by his family to complete his education before he returned to them, ready to take a role in the family business. In late May, he received heart-wrenching news about a series of devastating volcanic eruptions from Mount Pelee, on the Caribbean island of Martinique. Soon thereafter, Victor was handed a telegram that was sent by a family friend in the town of Fort-de-France, on that island. On May 8, 1902, the initial eruption claimed the lives of Victor’s entire family with a hot ash cloud that swept away the town of St. Pierre! The family home, the distillery business, and the grounds of the entire estate were incinerated and buried in minutes! Victor’s eyes filled with tears as he read words printed on the telegram over and over again. His mind filled with images of faces, experiences, and the joyful feeling of generous love from his family and friends. Happiness drifted away like a warm summer breeze, and his blood turned cold, like water to ice, when he comprehended that all that was his was forever lost in the tragedy a world away from Bordeaux. Victor understood that the course of his life was about to change too. Money would not be sent from a family that had passed. His home was buried under tons of ash. The
