CHAPTER 1
I was naked. From the scream I could tell that Eve had come to the same realization. She darted into the dark forest and out of sight. I suddenly felt cold. It wasn’t that we had been clothed before, but I had never really noticed the fact that I was completely exposed.
I wanted to chase after Eve but found that I was drawn to the fire in front of me. She would be fine. I sat on the cold dirt in front of the burning leaves and was unpleasantly reminded of the fact that I was naked… again. What is this feeling?
I thought. It was as if I had a newfound sense of my surroundings. The fire burned brighter, and the colors were more vivid than anything I had ever seen before.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw something stirring behind a shrub. Eve poked her head above the leaves and yelled at me, What have you done!?
She exclaimed.
What are you talking about? Are you not the one who said we should listen to the serpent?
I responded, calmly at first, but as the words came out of my mouth an overwhelming sense of anxiety washed over me. What had I done? Come over here and sit by the fire. We need to figure this out.
I motioned for her to sit next to me and she slowly made her way over, covered in leaves.
I fashioned this from the great tree by where we lay our heads at night,
she explained, referring to her new garments.
What do you have to hide? Have we not been this way since the creator breathed us into life? I think we might have more important issues to worry about at the moment.
As I said this I actually wished that I myself had something to cover my naked rear against the coarse dirt I was sitting on. Do you think the creator knows what we have done?
Of course he does,
she hesitantly replied, He knows all.
"But if the serpent was correct, we are gods now. Surely a god could conceal his identity." I said this with false confidence. Were we really gods? Aside from the fact that I had a great sense of understanding and self-awareness I didn’t feel all that godly.
We sat in silence for what felt like an eternity, but time didn’t seem to move at all. The air wafted around me, its cool touch caressing my body. As I inhaled I could feel every breath as the air slowly filled my lungs, and then again as it left my body. It was as if my lungs were working for the first time.
I started to find myself lost in thought for long periods of time when I would suddenly snap out of it only to forget everything I had just pondered. I watched the trees sway in the wind. For the first time I could see each and every leaf for what it really was. A living piece of a larger being, not unlike my fingers or toes. As the moonlight shone through the branches I was caught up in the beauty of it all when I heard Eve burst into laughter.
What have you seen?
I inquired.
Without hesitation she replied quite cryptically, NO LEAVES!
And she continued roaring with laughter.
What do you mean? Are you laughing at me because I am exposed?
I spoke with a defensive tone. I had forgotten about the sense of anxiety I had earlier when I first realized I was naked, but now I couldn’t think of anything else. I felt ashamed. I had never felt this way before. My whole existence was running through my mind and I felt the urge to run and hide in the forest when Eve finally spoke.
"No not you! Well, yes you too, but the creator. He probably doesn’t have any leaves! Can you believe that? He is probably up in the sky, or wherever he is, speaking in his mighty tone completely naked!" She continued to giggle and my anxiety disappeared. Although I had never thought about what the creator looked like before it was in fact a funny thought.
You’re right! He’s probably standing there saying, ‘Everything in this land is yours with one exception…’
I said as I stood up and gave my penis a smack causing it to sway from side to side, And his penis is just flopping around!
We both cried out with laughter. I also realized in that moment that I had become quite aroused from touching my penis and found Eve in her joyous state more beautiful that I can remember. Her light brown hair was glimmering in the moonlight, and the exposed parts of her tones legs
