The painting and poems are all original and done by artist Kathy Mitro.
The poetry and art are quite up to date with the times and what I like to call 2015 art.
The poetry is simple kind poetry. The kind of poetry easily read on the go with a cup of coffee and a newspaper.
The poems are light with goodness and joy in them so are appropriate for the smallest child but will engage any age even up to the oldest Grandmother.
They are feel good poems many with uplifting inspirational messages in them while at the same time remaining fun and playful.
The paintings while seeming somewhat abstract each have a definite story within them. The story is usually seen only after intense study when suddenly the image pops out never to be missed again.
The painting are quite fun and joyful also.
So the engagement of the poetry and art, is well, a match made in Heaven.
This book contains 35 full colors images within it and 35 poems.
The artwork and poetry are all original and done by Kathy Mitro an emerging new artist poised on the international stage.
This is a marriage made in Heaven of fine art and poetry, cutting edge for the year 2015.

I was born in the United States in the small town of Mount Lebanon in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. I grew up as the middle child in a family of four.
I have been creative all my life but did not start painting until late in life.
I started writing poetry in the year 2015.
My draw to the field of art was inspired by my spiritual search for the meaning of life and it's ties to a new world order of compassion and empathy.
Inspired by my great grandmother I am drawn to the specter of hunger and feel that starvation can be ended in this lifetime.
