About this ebook
The Top 10 Best Aspects for Romance, the second book in the Star Synastry series, examines the 10 hottest aspects in synastry that encourage mutual romantic interest, attraction, and excitement between partners. These aspects stand out because they inevitably lead to attraction between partners and magnetize people to one another. If you see one of these top 10 aspects in a synastry chart, you can safely assume that at least one of the partners is romantically interested in the other.
The Top 10 Best Aspects for Romance fully explains the 10 aspects that appear most often in romantic synastry, with chart examples. These leading synastry aspects can help you determine if your boyfriend or girlfriend likes you as much as you like them, if your significant other will marry you, or if your platonic friendship may develop into something more. This book also includes an overview of the most important planets in the synastry chart, a discussion of orbs, astrological houses, a brief history of astrology, and a lesson in chart reading. Star Synastry is written for anyone with an interest in synastry and astrology, and includes numerous charts, illustrations, and celebrity examples.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Majority of the book its introduction to astrology. People who want to read book about specific aspects in synastry are likely to know their sun sighn and what a synastry is. Second part is dealing a lot with chart interpretation of famous or random couples. This book is a time waster, despite the title suggesting some more advanced studies in astrology.

INTRODUCTION
I am extraordinarily passionate about synastry and astrological psychology, and firmly believe that single people can select meaningful relationship partners if they know what to look for - astrologically. Personal preferences and desires guide the majority of our romantic decisions, but those preferences often blind us to romantic possibilities with otherwise fantastic partners. Most people want to believe that they know their inherent romantic requirements, but do they really? If everyone is so deftly skilled in partner selection, then why do countless relationships end in heartache, separation, or divorce? Is there a way to make stronger, more fitting choices for our love life? There is! An astrological chart - specifically, a synastry chart - can show us whether a relationship is on the road to success or failure, and can offer an objective view of relationship dynamics.
In my earlier book, Star Synastry: the Power of the Astrological Conjunction, I examined over 500 charts of married and dating couples to find any significant synastry differences between the two groups. I found that marriage is predictable with a 76% success rate when certain aspects appear in synastry, principally the conjunction of personal planets. Now, this book examines the aspects in synastry that encourage mutual romantic interest, attraction, and excitement between partners. The Top 10 Best Synastry Aspects do not necessarily correspond to the top marriage aspects, although some do overlap (refer to Appendix). The top 10 aspects can help you determine if your boyfriend or girlfriend likes you as much as you like them, if your significant other will likely marry you, or if your platonic friendship has the potential for something more. The Top 10 Best Synastry Aspects hold the promise of love, a dating relationship, or something more significant, like marriage.
Astrologers like to see any one of the top 10 aspects appear in synastry because it denotes the possibility of love and attraction between partners. However, not every top aspect affords a bond that is strong enough to sustain a romantic relationship indefinitely. In order to figure out a relationship’s longevity, an astrologer needs to read the entire synastry chart and the natal charts, too. During my 21 years of studying astrology, I have found the 10 aspects explored in this book appear most often in romantic synastry. These aspects stand out as being intense or immediate, and they offer a couple the best chance at relationship success.
Now, what about another possibility? What about dating people based solely upon their zodiac sign? Many people who think they have an understanding of astrology will only date (or not date) specific zodiac signs. This method endeavors to do the right thing - selecting a well-matched mate - but if someone sets out in the dating world with the mindset of exclusion and not inclusion, their romantic pool is immediately limited. Almost everyone hates stereotyping, and that is why we often hear statements like, I am nothing like my sign,
I am the complete opposite of my sign,
or I do not act like a Cancer,
and so on. The truth is that most people actively try to distance themselves from their zodiac sign traits in order to appear unique and interesting. For, if everyone has similar traits to you, then you lose some originality.
It is a dangerous proposition to pigeon-hole people, particularly if the stereotype uses only the Sun sign description. The Sun is an extremely general sign and its traits are not reflective of a whole person; for a complete astrological profile we need to see someone’s full natal chart. A bad experience (or even several) with an Aquarius does not mean you will have a negative experience with every Aquarius you meet or date. Natal charts contain a mixture of different signs and elements, and the Sun is often the least important factor in someone’s chart. The Sun also holds the least significance when choosing a prospective partner. In fact, the Sun sign you least admire may be your ideal partner so long as their Moon sign, or Venus sign, or house positions affect your own chart positively. A lot more goes into synastry than just trite statements like, A Libra and Aries will never work out.
Synastry can potentially match people based upon two natal charts and the resulting couples’ chart. Astrologers and synastry experts generally consider natal charts and planet interactions in synastry more valuable than individual zodiac signs. It is a losing method to rule out one or more zodiac signs for dating based upon past experiences. However, it is always advisable to remain mindful of your own planet and house placements and to know what signs complement them.
My hope is that this book will fully explain the leading romantic aspects in synastry, so that you can look at a synastry chart and know if you have met the one
or not. Do you need to have a top 10 aspect in synastry in order for a relationship to succeed? No, but it certainly adds a layer of romance to a relationship. Fantastic, and romantic, synastry makes the relationship easier for both partners, and it generally leads to longevity that charts without these aspects may never achieve.
ASTROLOGY AND SYNASTRY
The word astrology derives from the Greek nouns astron (
star) and logia (
study of)
(Lock). Astrology is certainly not for everyone as it often conflicts with other religious beliefs but, for those willing to explore its depths, astrology provides insight into personal relationships and the self. Astrology is not a recognized scientific field, and no accredited institutions of higher learning award degrees in the subject, but astrology has managed to exist since at least 1800 B.C. The length of its existence alone indicates it holds substantial worth to those willing to heed its guidance. Some historians date astrology back even farther, … astronomy and astrology were studied first in Chaldea and Babylonia and were established very early as sciences-about 5,000 B.C.
(Papon, pg. 14). Astrology permeates history and it has reached countless times into ancient empires, monarchies, Hollywood, and even the American presidency.
All early civilizations relied upon the sky for some answers, but the Babylonians of Ancient Mesopotamia created the first calendar, the first map of constellations, and the division of a day into hours and minutes. A significant amount of astrological history stems from the early Babylonians and Egyptians, who traded with one another. Ancient cultures required a system of organization and reliability to predict weather patterns and calculate the passage of time; entire civilizations were built and maintained by weather patterns alone. Food production and trading were affected by floods or drought, so it was imperative to know when weather cycles occurred. The rising and setting of the Sun each day, the phases of the Moon, the location of stars, and other various objects in the sky provided ancient cultures with the necessary link between time and events. The Moon held particular importance because its various cycles (full,
