      Virgo is the sixth sign of the Zodiac. It follows Leo in the Zodiacal line-up.

      As a rule, the range of Virgo covers the time from August 22nd until September 22nd.

      It is a time of tending to life's practical business, and giving work and service to others.

      It is associated with applying your learned skills to make your life and that of others easier.

      In mundane matters, Virgo is associated with the circumstances of your daily job, relationships with colleagues and clients, maintenance of your lifestyle, and the care you pay to your health concerns.

      The Zodiacal symbol for Virgo is the Virgin.

      Virgo is the Mutable Earth sign. Earth signs are pragmatic, grounded, conservative, and materialistic.

      Mutable signs are associated with flexibility, adaptability, and invention. They deal with life's problems by making compromises, adjusting to their new situation, and being able to modify themselves and their responses to fit the change in circumstances.

      The other Mutable signs are Gemini, Sagittarius, and Pisces. The natural style these signs take in their approach to life can bring challenges to their relationships with Virgo.
