Guy Wann published his first work in 2011; "How to Build Large Canvases for a Tiny Fraction of the Cost" and in 2012 "A Beginners Guide, Getting Your Painting into Art Shows". An artist at heart, Mr. Wann has pursued art in a variety of mediums. Raised in Ojai California he was never at loss to find outlets for his talents. Coming from a long line of extremely talented artists; from his Great Grandmother who painted china, his Grandmother who worked with oils and his mother; Anita Wann who is renowned for her watercolors, Mr. Wann began showing his artistic skills at an early age. In his high school and college years he worked with ceramics and started to display his works in shows. It was in 2008 that all things clicked during a visit with his mother while she was painting in a demonstrative art show. He decided to try his hand at painting, creating his own unique style. Within six months his art was accepted into juried art shows, and his successes have continued, his work has now been displayed in shows from New York to California. His exceptional paintings have been sold to collections all over the country. Mr. Wann has turned his artistic eye on writing is a value to all artists; novice to professionals will benefit from his wide range of knowledge.
