Foreword:
Jared Makheja’s workbook provides guidance for dyslexics, teachers, doctors, and dyslexia advocates through extensive knowledge and background regarding dyslexia. It also provides cognitive exercises to help dyslexics develop the skills they might be lacking. No person truly understands what it is like to be dyslexic, unless dyslexia has, in some way, touched their lives. Even then, most people affected by dyslexia do not have background knowledge on dyslexia nor do they know exactly what to do to help. As a doctor, I have spent years studying various learning disabilities, and there is a lot of information and background needed in order to have a good understanding of dyslexia. However, upon reading Unlock Dyslexia: A Comprehensive Workbook, understanding dyslexia and therapeutic methods for dyslexics became clear as the majority of the information surrounding the learning disability is covered in a comprehensive manner.
I am sure using some of this workbook’s exercises will yield tremendous positive rewards with improved fluency in reading and increased comprehension and
