Spark in her beautiful eyes, rosy cheeks and a faint smile, in lovely nature she covered her veil, quickly as she exclaimed, and forbidden things attract people
.
Looking at him, she noticed a quick change of expression; before he could speak she knew what he will say.
How can you say that
,
Confidentially she began. You see how alcohol is forbidden in Islam but Muslims still drink it, as if it wasn't forbidden at all
He interrupted angrily Now don't begin those Islamic teachings
Her expressions changed for a moment but then she calmly began,
Okay let’s put Islamic point of view a side, cigarette, what about it? Isn’t it harm full as well? Still people don't leave it!
With boiling anger in his eyes, He stood up see I know u would do that again
She replied calmly but u just said you don't want to listen any Islamic preaching
He picked his cigarette pack showing its label, look! What is this written? Nicotine! It’s a stress reliever
she interrupted so if you're stressed why don't you pray to God instead of getting used to these drugs
, realizing her mistake she bit her lips before she could say something he angrily replied, "drugs!!? How could you? U thinks I am drug addicted! He went from there, this Happened every other time when she tried to convince him,
But she never lost hope nor she ever minded his tone and behavior, they were best buddies as he used to say.
Sara and Ali both were cousins, having a huge family, living peacefully in a joint family with their elders. Both had a little age difference, that's why even because of Sara’s reserved and restricted nature for opposite gender they became friends. Ali was a nice guy tall; handsome opposite to Sara he was cheering full, fun loving and lively. Being the only son he took the benefits of being spoiled, liberty to do anything, but in Sara's case she was restricted, because she was a girl just like other ordinary girls of the society who weren't permitted to make their own and express their feelings openly but she never minded her parents decision and these rules, she was used to all of these things. They all were happily living in one roof until that day came, when everything turned upside down especially for Ali. Nobody ever knew but he was sensitive much sensitive like others though not showing his emotions. They still remember that harsh day when Ali's parents got divorced, they both chose another life partners right after that leaving Ali behind, their only child. It effected Ali emotionally but he never showed But Sara knew from day one that he wasn't okay, she tried to cheer him up, her parents did everything for him as well and maybe it was because of their love that he preferred them over his parent he chose to stay in house with them, but nothing was same as before, he was getting pale already not eating much, he started smoking too, but only Sara knew that.
Wandering here and there smoking cigarettes, which he called stress reliever Ali was smoking one by one all of them until he realized he used a full packet already, watching the burned pile of cigarettes in an ashtray he stood up, thinking about what just happened, why Sara is doing this? What if she’s right? What if I became an addict and stone hearted? Moving his head in denial he started his bike and went to find some inner peace. When he came, as he was expecting she was waiting for him like she always does, giving her a cold look and he starred her for a while, there were no words from both sides but still ,they both knew everything will be okay tomorrow. Both went to sleep.
It was 12 'O clock in the morning, when he woke up yawned, he check his cell phone as usual and found were her apologizing messages ,he nodded as if he was saying he accepted them. He got up and went for shower he began looking himself in a mirror like never before and found himself pale, weak here he was standing, with a sadness on his face he got out after combing hair get dressed up casually, went downstairs for breakfast with his beloved uncle's family, as his uncle saw him coming he stared him for a while then said,oh my son! Come have breakfast
he sits beside him as he always did, his uncle knew why. They started having breakfast when Sara’s dad asked where is our child
Sara mother called her, she was afraid of Ali behavior, she came after few minutes, sit beside her mother in front of ali. They both looked at each other once but she noticed it was something going on, she had breakfast and then helped her mother in different chores. After a while she went straight into her room, waiting for Ali so that she can apologize again. As usual he came home a bit late, she ran downstairs towards him like a child running towards his mom, looking at him she knew he was stressed out, before she could say anything ali asked her not to talk about whatever happened between them, 'I forgave you already, and went to sleep after saying that without making a eye contact as if he was having a guilt. She decided not to come with this topic again
