      You can study a person’s body language to pick up their emotional state. In a relationship, if you pay close attention to details and you notice your man’s shoulder is slumping, he may have had a rough day and you will also notice when he needs emotional support.

      Chapter 1 - How to Read Body Language

      I can read you like an open book you have probably heard this phrase, but do you know what is really means? To read someone properly, is the ability to observe nonverbal signals and compare them to the verbal message being delivered in the right context.

      From the paragraph above, we have three main words there which are

      Nonverbal cues: these are body language and other cues like intonations and vocal signals

      Verbal message: these are spoken words

      The context: this depends on the situation like who the person is? What are you guys talking about? Where is this person from? What age group do they belong to? What culture? What gender? All these things and many more, affect our communications by delicate means, so be sure not to ignore them.
