Grow Fruit Indoors - Fiona Jenkins

    Introduction

Growing your own supply of food is an economical boost to your family budget and a luxury, all at the same time. Initially, it will be hard work as you do the preparation work, and learn a whole new skill. Once your plants are established, your indoor farm will soon be producing a tasty, nutritional harvest. There is something satisfying and very tasty about your own home grown produce.

In addition to the flavor, you know exactly how much, and what sort of pesticides you have used, cutting down on the toxicity levels of the food that you eat.

Most of the labor will be required in the beginning, when you are planting your seeds, then you will transfer them later in their growth cycle, into larger pots. After that it is a labor of love, as you watch those little seedlings bud and grow, and finally produce your fruit.

Growing your own food is an economical way of providing yourself with fresh fruit, the only monetary outlay is the initial purchase of seeds and equipment. But, once the crops are established, you should never need to buy them from a shop
