About this ebook
“I was either going to get run over taking money that we did not need to the bank across the street or a Hearse was going to pick me up out back, because I worked myself to death” .
That’s what Occurred to me one day at our Business back in 1995.We sold it and came home. The 23 year business We Created “ Peek Performance” was doing great, 1,000’s of friends, Creating and Promoting Events, Machining, Building Engines and Racing Cars, lots of fun, volume and was Rewarding us Handsomely... Life had been a Wonderful, Rock and Roll Adventure for 53 years to this point and since we most of the time did what ” Occurred” to us, We sold it and came home. It was the best Decision WE ever made and then a New Adventure began. I had questions and desired to understand “Where we came from” and “Where the ideas that occurred to me come from”. We discovered that interacting with the world is like the old Pong game, slowdown your paddle, leave your wallet in your pocket, start to reason and things get more peaceful. The world is a rascal, it would like to keep us so busy Reacting that we never understand how it works. It would like to control/ program us Physically, Mentally and Economically. Reason and reject it’s effort . You can have time to Plan and organize your Life better. Most of us have been grist for the mill, listened to the world and followed the brain of reaction instead of discovering our Self and choosing the mind of reason to lead us. We are not Hemingway, The Answers were not what we expected, but we are with you . We are not here to Entertain the Brain but to Define and Find the MIND with LOVE....

William F. (Pete) Peek IV is an Entrepreneur that let the World go and Came Home to stay. My mom started me in second grade with a wagon selling vegetables in College Park Maryland. We moved to Beltsville, Maryland and delivered news papers. Then working for our dad at “PRESSURE SCIENCE” became a journeyman machinist, went to the University of Maryland In Mechanical engineering for a couple years the in 1963 we had to go into the Military, became a jet mechanic in the Navy Reserve. Came back and went to A&P school and got a job with Eastern Airlines as aircraft mechanic. At the same time We rebuilt airplanes, learned how to fly and ran aircraft maintenance at College Park airport in Maryland. One day we learned Park and Planning was going to take over the airport and would change our Life. It occurred to me to start our own business “ Peek Performance”, that we operated 23 Years until we sold it and came home. Now we are here with you. We can do anything we set the Mind to.. We have been busy just like you, We Just followed Our Yellow brick road of Opportunity that occurred to us, living within our means as we expanded our means, Choose GOOD and Function over fashion, like Mom taught us. We never quit and If We can do it , You can do it................

Age of Understanding - Pete Peek
Introduction
Somewhere there is an Entity that is far more capable than us. After the last Extinction Level Event
It saw promise in the latest Evolutionary form of The Living Creature
that became the Host that MAN was created from. He somehow placed a bit of Himself, the Mind, a new personality and Consciousness within this Host. Consciousness would be the Creator’s link to simply make suggestions to guide us. Could His Hope be that with the Reasoning Mind we could change our Habits? Then Reason and Habits over time would modify our Reactions, Emotions and Fears so that Man would evolve, one day worthy to join others of the Cosmos. For now though it may be best to leave us in our own petri dish in the sun to grow. The pamphlet that follows contains the information that I have found and has occurred to me over 74 years of life. Our Hope is this will be good food for thought. Question Everything, Reason, Serve and Grow Free.
Age of Understanding
Latter rain
Jesus was the early Rain, the Church’s Reign and Now the Latter Rain
addressed to
We the People
on the following interesting subjects:
I. The style and effect of Thomas Paine’s writings.
II. THE origin of MAN ?
III. Where did Cain’s wife come from ?
IV. The TRUTH about the test in the garden?
V. All men are created equal ?
This Original Work to which is added an appendix; the Optimist Creed and a Dictionary of hopefully useful Acronyms of RED Highlighted Words.
I. THE style and effect of Thomas Paine’s writings.
Thomas Paine was born in Tedford, England, in 1717 and was persuaded by Benjamin Franklin to immigrate to America in 1774. In 1776 he began writing his American Crisis series
of 13 pamphlets which included Common Sense
. These writings use basic words that a simple mechanic or basic farmer could understand. It gave the colonists a framework of principles and ideas to pursue their Independence from England. We hope to accomplish something similar here. He led a very politically active life and before he died, while in a prison in France, he started writing
The Age of Reason
.
This book was the understanding he developed during his life about the Christian Religion and the Bible.
We will follow his style using WORDS that hopefully all can understand. To begin, the I
aspect of me is a mechanic; if I
can get my hands on it and wrap my head around it, most times we can fix it.
When I was a kid MOM said to me You are a poet and don’t know it
, and later I learned that We were good with words. Now before I ask you to trust me and go further or even hear the words We say, We are going to present you a Personal Poem that occurred to me from three ideas over a period of more than 10 years. I HOPE you understand and enjoy it. The I aspect of me didn’t write it, but We did!! Originally it seemed it was My Song
but later as we told it to others, they said that it
