    Ronald J. Franklin was born in New Orleans La. and with his four brothers was brought up and educated in Baton Rouge, La. He and his family make their home in nearby Baker, La., where the author owns and operates his own detail shop. He is very active in the community and church affairs. He is also an accomplished artist and enjoys singing and writing songs.
